AFC Wimbledon have signed Jake Reeves on a free transfer after his short-term contract at Swindon Town expired.
The 21-year-old joined the Robins in August and scored one goal in 12 appearances before his release.
Dons boss Neal Ardley has moved quickly to secure the services of a midfielder who had been attracting interest from teams higher up the Football League.
"Jake has an edge to him, he can see a pass and his technique is very good," Ardley told the club website.
"I was aware of the deal that he was on at Swindon and when he was not getting as many games as he would have hoped for I got straight onto his agent, who told me Jake was considering leaving.
"I said that Jake knows how much I rate him and I would love to have him back at Wimbledon."
Reeves played five times during a loan spell at Wimbledon during the first half of the 2012-2013 season.
