Botswana 1-6 Guinea

Guinea score six with only one in reply against Botswana this afternoon.

Guinea have kept their hopes of qualification to the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final with a 6-1 win over Botswana this afternoon.

It was Guinea who took the lead after 13 minutes through Sadio Diallo, who scored from inside the six-yard box.

However, just eight minutes later Dipsy Selolwane drew Botswana level from the penalty spot.

The game was put out of Botswana's reach before the break, with further goals from Diallo, Abdoul Camara and Ibrahima Traore giving Guinea a healthy advantage.

Botswana's chances were dented even more by Patrick Motsepe's red card on the stroke of half-time.

Guinea scored two goals after the restart, both coming in the final ten minutes courtesy of Mamadou Bah and Naby Soumah.

Botswana have been knocked out of the tournament following this result.
