UEFA have fined Ajax £21,000 for improper conduct of their supporters and displaying an offensive banner during the team's recent Champions League encounter with Celtic in Amsterdam.
Fans of the Dutch club aimed the message at travelling Celtic supporters inside the Amsterdam ArenA on November 6.
The match was marred by violence before kickoff, with around 15 arrests reported to have been made by police.
An official UEFA statement read: "The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body has fined AFC Ajax €25,000 for the improper conduct of their supporters (article 16.2 of the disciplinary regulations) and specifically for the displaying of an offensive banner at their UEFA Champions League group stage match against Celtic FC on November 6 in Amsterdam."
Ajax eventually won the contest 1-0 to boost their chances of reaching the next round of the competition.
