Matchday eight of the 2022-23 Eredivisie season commences with a clash between Cambuur and PSV Eindhoven at the Cambuur Stadion on Saturday.
The teams come into this one in highly contrasting forms as the home side look to avoid a fifth straight defeat, while the visitors have won all but one of their seven league encounters this term.
We say: Cambuur 1-3 PSV Eindhoven
Having scored the most goals in the Eredivisie so far, PSV look unstoppable in front of goal right now, and we are backing them to emerge victorious at the end of the 90 minutes here.

Looking to preserve the only unbeaten record left in the 2022-23 Eredivisie season, AZ Alkmaar visit the Euroborg on Saturday evening to take on Groningen.
Meanwhile, the home side will head into this weekend's encounter aiming to return to winning ways having been defeated in their last outing before the international break.
We say: Groningen 1-2 AZ Alkmaar
Despite their poor record in this fixture of late, AZ boast a superior squad and will back themselves to get the job done this weekend, especially off the back of defeating the defending champions. We are backing the away side to carry the day here, albeit by only a narrow margin.

Ajax vs. Go Ahead Eagles (Saturday, 7.00pm)

After suffering the very rare occurrence of back-to-back defeats, Ajax will enter a very important fortnight with a home match against Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivisie on Saturday.
Following their defeat at Anfield in the Champions League, Ajax lost away in Alkmaar to AZ to surrender top spot in the league to rivals PSV Eindhoven before the international break.
We say: Ajax 5-1 Go Ahead Eagles
The gulf in class and stature between the two sides will surely show on the scoreline in this encounter, despite the two shock results between the sides last season.
Go Ahead Eagles have leaked more goals than most sides, and Ajax have already recorded 4-0, 5-0 and 6-1 wins in the league this season.
The visitors have proven they are a capable group in attack though, so breaching the Ajax defence may give them something to take away from the game.

FC Twente vs. Vitesse (Saturday, 8.00pm)

FC Twente will be looking to get back on track in the Eredivisie this weekend, as they welcome an underperforming Vitesse to the city of Enschede.
The hosts have a 100% record at home this season, beating league leaders PSV Eindhoven in their last encounter at De Grolsch Veste, while the visitors' only win of the campaign so far has come away from home.
We say: FC Twente 3-1 Vitesse
A return to De Grolsch Veste should signify a return to winning ways for FC Twente, up against an inconsistent side who are still finding their feet after a summer of change.
Phillip Coco might inspire some 'new manager bounce', but the hosts should be too strong to allow a debut victory for the new head coach.
