Altrincham and Dover Athletic will compete in the Conference Premier next season after they prevailed in the Conference North and South playoff finals respectively.
The two clubs join AFC Telford United and Eastleigh in gaining promotion to the top division of non-league football, but both had to fight hard to end a lengthy campaign with the ultimate prize.
James Lawrie gave Altrincham the lead against Guiseley before the Yorkshire outfit pegged back their hosts thanks to a goal from Danny Forrest.
After the match went to extra time, it appeared as though penalties would be required, but Greg Wilkinson, who had only been on the pitch for 60 seconds, struck in the 120th minute to earn Alty a memorable 2-1 triumph.
In the Conference South final, Nathan Elder struck 10 minutes into the second half to earn Dover a 1-0 win at Ebbsfleet.
