Napoli are reportedly prepared to sell Victor Osimhen to Arsenal if they receive two players in exchange.

Osimhen continues to be linked with a move away from the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona despite having two years left to run on his contract.

The Nigeria international has already cemented himself in Napoli history, scoring 26 goals in 33 matches to fire the Italian club to the 2022-23 Serie A title.

Napoli experienced a significant drop-off last term, but Osimhen still managed to finish the Serie A campaign with a respectable 15-goal tally.

Newly-appointed Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is reportedly interested in signing Las Palmas goalkeeper Alvaro Valles.

Earlier on Monday, the Blues confirmed Maresca had left his role as Leicester City boss to take over the reins at Stamford Bridge, penning a five-year deal with an option to extend by a further 12 months.

The new head coach will now work with Chelsea's recruitment team to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2024-25 season.

The Blues are believed to be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper despite having the likes of Robert Sanchez, Djordje Petrovic, and Gabriel Slonina on their books.

Arsenal could raise £129.5m from player sales this summer

Arsenal could potentially boost their coffers by over £100m through player sales this summer, where at least eight unwanted names are expected to leave.

The Gunners are no longer in need of a major squad overhaul following back-to-back second-placed finishes in the Premier League, missing out on the title by two points in the 2023-24 campaign.

Two of last year's marquee summer signings - Declan Rice and Kai Havertz - made a huge difference for Arsenal last term, while Jurrien Timber was hampered by an ACL problem but should play a prominent role next season.

A new striker and new defensive midfielder are among Mikel Arteta's chief targets for the summer window, while a left-back and goalkeeper could also arrive depending on exits.

Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer, with the France international penning a five-year contract at Bernabeu.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that a deal has been in place since February, with Mbappe running down his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Real Madrid had wanted to wait until after the 2024 Champions League final before announcing the acquisition of Mbappe, who has moved to the Spanish capital on a free transfer.

Los Blancos confirmed, via a statement on their official website, that Mbappe has agreed a contract until the summer of 2029.

Transfer rumours: Kelly to Newcastle, Kamada to Palace, Zouma heading towards West Ham exit

Newcastle United have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly.

The Magpies are keen to strengthen their backline, with Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles both sidelined with long-term knee injuries.

Newcastle have been linked with potential moves for Bournemouth's Kelly and Fulham's Tosin Adarabioyo, but the latter is now expected to join Chelsea on a free transfer.

Having seemingly lost the race to sign Adarabioyo, The Telegraph are reporting that Newcastle are stepping up their efforts to secure Kelly's signature.

Arsenal to 'reluctantly' sell £30m-rated striker amid four-club transfer battle

Arsenal's Kai Havertz, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli react after Fulham's Bobby Decordova-Reid scored their second goal on December 31, 2023
    © Reuters

Arsenal are prepared to "reluctantly" let one of their strikers leave the club this summer amid suggestions that four teams are battling for his services.

During the 2023-24 campaign, academy graduate Eddie Nketiah served as Mikel Arteta's third-choice striker, as Kai Havertz established himself as the Spaniard's leading number nine.

The German started out unsuccessfully in midfield before his successful transition to an offensive role, forcing Gabriel Jesus to play backup and bumping Nketiah even further down the pecking order.

The England international made 37 appearances across all competitions, but he managed just six goals and made the starting XI on just 10 occasions in the Premier League, most recently in December's defeat to Fulham.

How does Benjamin Sesko compare to Arsenal's current strikers?

Benjamin Sesko celebrates scoring for RB Leipzig in April 2024
    © Reuters

First it was Ivan Toney. Then it was Alexander Isak. Now, 20-year-old RB Leipzig hotshot Benjamin Sesko appears to have forced his way to the top of Arsenal's attacking wishlist for the summer window.

The Slovenia international took a bit of time to hit top gear during his debut campaign in the Bundesliga, but there was no stopping the 6ft 5in talisman when he got into his stride, as he struck in each of his last seven top-flight appearances of the season.

Sesko - who graduated from the famed Red Bull Salzburg academy - will also be leading the line for his nation at Euro 2024, where stellar showings against Denmark, Serbia and England in the group stage could help to drive up interest further.

However, Leipzig may be powerless to let Sesko leave for an affordable £55m if that rumoured release clause is met, and despite talk of interest from Manchester United, the 20-year-old is supposedly favouring a switch to Arsenal, who can offer him Champions League football for 2024-25.

Chelsea attacker 'at centre of three-way transfer tussle'

Chelsea's Armando Broja celebrates scoring their second goal with teammates on October 2, 2023
    © Reuters

Chelsea forward Armando Broja is reportedly attracting interest from three clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

After recovering from a serious knee injury, Broja started the 2023-24 campaign as backup to Nicolas Jackson and with the hope of ultimately challenging for regular football.

However, while the academy graduate made eight starts and 11 substitute outings in all competitions, he would score just the two goals.

At a time when they wished to improve their standing with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations, Chelsea allowed Broja to spend the second half of the season on loan at Fulham.

Arsenal have announced that as many as 19 players will be leaving the club at the end of June.

The Gunners have just completed the 2023-24 campaign without winning any silverware, only missing out on the Premier League title on the final day of the season.

Mikel Arteta now wants to put plans in place to significantly add to his squad during the summer transfer window in a bid to close the gap on Manchester City.

Sales are expected to materialise in due course in order to generate extra income that can be put towards new signings.

Jadon Sancho 'prepared to go back to Man Utd on one condition'

Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho on June 1, 2024
    © Reuters

Jadon Sancho is reportedly open to the possibility of returning to Manchester United next season on the condition that Erik ten Hag is no longer at the club.

The England international endured a frustrating start to life at Old Trafford since joining the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmund for £73m back in 2021.

Sancho was sent on loan to his former club in January after he was dropped from United's first team following a falling out with Ten Hag in September last year.

Since returning to BVB, Sancho has regained form and impressed during his side's journey to Saturday's Champions League final despite ultimately falling short against Real Madrid.

Rangers re-sign Ligue 1 attacker on loan with obligation to buy

Rangers have announced the signing of Oscar Cortes on a one-year loan deal with an obligation to buy in the summer of 2025.

The 20-year-old initially arrived at Ibrox in February on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy, and he impressed during his short spell with the Gers.

Cortes made seven first-team appearances for Philippe Clement's side, scoring once and providing two assists, but his season was cut short by a muscle injury picked up against Kilmarnock on February 28.

The Colombian winger, who has one international cap for his country, has continued to carry out his rehab in Glasgow and has now agreed to remain at Rangers for the 2024-25 campaign.

Man Utd-linked Italy defender ruled out of Euro 2024 due to injury

Atalanta's Giorgio Scalvini receives medical attention after sustaining an injury on June 2, 2024
    © Reuters

Italy defender Giorgio Scalvini has been ruled out of Euro 2024 after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.

The 20-year-old was an integral first-team player for Atalanta BC in the 2023-24 season, making 44 appearances in all competitions, and celebrated winning the Europa League at the end of last month.

Scalvini started and scored a first-half goal in Atalanta's final Serie A fixture of the campaign on Sunday - a 3-2 home defeat to Fiorentina at the Gewiss Stadium.

However, the central defender was forced off in the 84th minute and was trying to hold back the tears after sustaining a knee injury when attempting to make a challenge.

No marquee signings akin to £105m Declan Rice are expected, but reinforcements are apparently being targeted in the attacking slots - both up front and out wide - a new defensive midfielder, a new left-back and possibly a new goalkeeper too.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at every player to have been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer and rates their chances of joining Mikel Arteta's team.

Transfer rumours: Juve want Villa midfielder, Spurs man open to exit, Real set Davies limit

Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers celebrates scoring their second goal on April 27, 2024
    © Reuters

Aston Villa reportedly face the prospect of having to fend off interest from Juventus for Douglas Luiz during the summer transfer window.

The Brazil international has just played a key role in Villa qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in their history, the West Midlands outfit finishing in fourth place in the Premier League standings.

However, with Villa not necessarily in the best position when it comes to the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations, a big-money sale remains a possibility.

Luiz's name has been constantly linked with an exit, with Arsenal the most well-documented suitors having tried and failed with an approach in the past.

The legendary Portuguese has spent the last year-and-a-half at the Saudi Pro League club, scoring an impressive 64 goals from 70 appearances.

However, aside from the Arab Club Champions Cup, Ronaldo is yet to win any further silverware at Al-Nassr, who finished as runners-up in the league and King's Cup during 2023-24.

Despite that disappointment, it has since been confirmed that the 39-year-old will remain at the Global One for next season, leading to speculation as to how they will attempt to strengthen their squad.
