Round 10 of the Argentine Primera Division comes to an end on Tuesday when Arsenal Sarandi and Rosario Central go head to head at the Estadio Julio Humberto Grondona.
With just one point and five places separating the sides in the bottom half of the league table, this game has all the makings of a thrilling and hard-fought contest.
Match preview
Arsenal Sarandi were involved in a share of the spoils for the second consecutive game as they came from behind to salvage a 1-1 draw with Racing Club at the Estadio Presidente Peron last Tuesday.
Despite seeing less than 30% of the ball possession and being on the back foot for most of the game, Facundo Kruspzky cancelled out Gonzalo Piovi's 35th-minute opener to force a share of the spoils.
Prior to that, Los del Viaducto saw their run of two consecutive victories come to an end as they played out a similar 1-1 draw at home against Platense on July 16, when Ayrton Costa and Kruspzky scored for either side in the second half.
Arsenal Sarandi are now unbeaten in each of their last eight outings, picking up two wins and six draws since their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Boca Juniors in their league opener on June 5.
With 12 points from nine games, Leonardo Madelon's side are currently 15th in the Primera Division table, but could potentially rise as high as 10th place with all three points on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, after losing his opening two games in charge of Rosario Central, Carlos Tevez has turned the ship around positively and steered the Rosario-based outfit clear of the bottom of the table.
The Canalla picked up a second win from three games last time out when they upset the odds to see off seventh-placed Newell's Old Boys 1-0 on home turf.
In that encounter, 18-year-old forward Alejo Veliz came up trumps at the Estadio Gigante de Arroyito as he netted the only goal of the game to hand the visitors their first defeat of the season.
Rosario Central, who have picked up seven points from their last three games, are currently 20th in the league standings after picking up three wins and two draws from their nine games so far.
While Tevez's side will look to keep the juggernaut rolling and continue their surge up the standings, they have struggled to get going away from home, where they are currently on a run of seven defeats and one draw from their last eight matches since the start of April.

Team News
Arsenal de Sarandi will take to the pitch without 29-year-old forward Brian Sanchez, who picked up an injury in April's game against Barracas Central.
He is joined on the club's injury table by Joaquin Pombo and 23-year-old Lucas Brochero, who is set to sit out his third consecutive game through a foot problem
Kruspzky has been instrumental in the hosts' recent resurgence and the 19-year-old, who has scored in each of their last three games, should spearhead the attack once again.
As for Rosario Central, Tevez will be unable to call upon Mexican striker Luca Martinez, who has been sidelined since February when he ruptured his cruciate ligament.
The Canalla will also have to cope without the duo of Francesco Lo Celso and 25-year-old defender Juan Komar, who are currently recuperating from ACL and knee injuries respectively.
Arsenal Sarandi possible starting lineup:
Medina; Chimino, Goni, Gariglio, Perez; Rivero, Pitton Miloc, Ibanez; Lomonaco, Kruspzky
Rosario Central possible starting lineup:
Servio; Cortez, Almada, Baez, Blanco; Montoya, Tanlongo, Buonanotte, Rodriguez; Candia, Veliz
We say: Arsenal Sarandi 1-1 Rosario Central
Rosario Central have hit their stride in recent weeks and will be looking to make it five consecutive games without defeat against the hosts.
However, they have struggled for results away from home, managing one draw and losing seven of their eight games since the start of April. Looking at their past results, we predict a thrilling contest with both sides doing just enough to leave with a point.
