Tuesday's Champions League predictions including Man City vs. Feyenoord

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Champions League fixtures, including Man City vs. Feyenoord.

Slovan Bratislava vs. AC Milan (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

Seeking a third straight Champions League win, Italian giants AC Milan will meet struggling Slovan Bratislava at Stadion Tehelne Pole on Tuesday evening.

While Milan toppled reigning champions Real Madrid last time out, their hosts have yet to pick up a point in the new league phase, which has reached its halfway stage.

We say: Slovan Bratislava 0-2 AC Milan

Milan may be hit-and-miss in Serie A, but they are more than capable of securing maximum points in Bratislava. Due to Slovan's defensive flaws, the Rossoneri can boost their bid for automatic qualification to the last 16.

Sparta Prague vs. Atletico (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

Sparta Prague and Atletico Madrid will lock horns for the first time in their respective histories on Tuesday night, and both sides will be under pressure to pick up a positive result due to their issues in the Champions League this season.

Atletico are down in 23rd spot in the overall Champions League table, having only picked up six points from their four games in the competition, while Sparta are 26th, collecting four points from their opening four games in 2024-25.

We say: Sparta Prague 0-1 Atletico Madrid

Sparta are certainly capable of making this an uncomfortable match for Atletico, who have not been at their best in the competition this season. However, we are expecting Simeone's side to find a way to secure all three points on Tuesday, which would certainly leave them in a much more comfortable position in the table.

Barcelona vs. Brest (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Barcelona will be aiming to record their fourth Champions League victory of the campaign when they welcome French outfit Brest to Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on Tuesday night.

Hansi Flick's side are sixth in the Champions League table, boasting nine points from their four matches in this season's competition, while Brest are fourth, picking up 10 points from their opening four games in 2024-25.

We say: Barcelona 2-0 Brest

Brest have surprised many with their excellent performances in the competition this season, but this will be a step-up in class for them, and we are finding it difficult to predict anything other than a Barcelona win.

B. Leverkusen vs. Salzburg (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

On the back of contrasting results on the fourth matchday of the 2024-25 Champions League, Bayer Leverkusen and Red Bull Salzburg cross paths on Tuesday evening in their latest European affair.

The BayArena battle pits two managers with Liverpool connections against each other, as Xabi Alonso embraces Jurgen Klopp's former right-hand man Pep Lijnders on the touchline.

We say: Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 Red Bull Salzburg

Salzburg's stellar beating of a 10-man Feyenoord side was not a sign of things to come for Tuesday's visitors, who are still flattering to deceive domestically and are at risk of a rude awakening in Leverkusen.

Even with a handful of attacking talents missing through injury, Alonso's men should prove far too potent for Salzburg's young guns, and the Bundesliga champions have our vote to stroll to a comfortable win.

Bayern vs. PSG (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Allianz Arena will play host to a blockbuster contest in the Champions League on Tuesday night, with Bayern Munich welcoming Paris Saint-Germain, and both sides will be under pressure to pick up a positive result.

Bayern are down in 17th spot in the Champions League table, picking up six points from their four European matches this season, while PSG are 25th, with Luis Enrique's side only gathering four points from their opening four games.

We say: Bayern Munich 2-1 Paris Saint-Germain

Both sides have had their problems in the Champions League this season, but Bayern are so strong at home, and it is difficult to back PSG to pick up a positive result on Tuesday night. The visitors have more than enough quality to get their name on the scoresheet, but we are expecting Kompany's side to claim a narrow victory at Allianz Arena.

Inter Milan vs. RB Leipzig (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Having made very different starts to their Champions League campaigns, Inter Milan and RB Leipzig will convene at San Siro on Tuesday evening.

While Inter are unbeaten and sit safely inside the top eight, their German counterparts have yet to pick up a point in this season's league phase.

We say: Inter Milan 2-1 RB Leipzig

Even a steadfast Inter defence may be unable to keep Leipzig at bay for 90 minutes, given the visitors' abundance of pace and finishing prowess.

Still, the Nerazzurri have more than enough nous to collect another three points, as they can also be ruthless in the final third.

Man City vs. Feyenoord (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

In full-blown crisis mode after their fifth straight defeat across all competitions, meek Manchester City seek a shot at retribution in Tuesday's Champions League league phase match at home to Feyenoord.

Pep Guardiola's side were annihilated 4-0 by Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday's Premier League shock, while their Dutch foes barely broke a sweat in a 3-0 Eredivisie win over Heerenveen.

We say: Manchester City 3-0 Feyenoord

With Feyenoord in much worse shape than Guardiola's side fitness-wise, Tuesday's game is an ample opportunity for the Citizens to pull themselves out of their rut, and one that they should not pass up.

As only one of the visitors' last 19 Champions League games has seen them keep a clean sheet, City should strike more than once en route to the win that may or may not spark a winter renaissance.

Sporting Lisbon vs. Arsenal (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Having hinted at a winter revival with a morale-boosting Premier League success, Arsenal resume Champions League duties away to Portuguese titans Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday evening.

The Gunners put three past Nottingham Forest without reply over the weekend, while their hosts kicked off the post-Ruben Amorim era with a comprehensive 6-0 Taca de Portugal pummelling of Amarante.

We say: Sporting Lisbon 2-2 Arsenal

Had Arsenal been travelling to Sporting before the international break with no Odegaard in the ranks, Arteta's men would no doubt have been at risk of sharing the same fate as Man City, but Saturday's stellar success ought to be the catalyst for a Christmas renaissance.

As such, we can envisage the Gunners ending Sporting's perfect home record in 2024-25, but the Portuguese titans are too hot for any team to handle up front and can restrict Arteta's men to just the one point in what should be a Champions League classic.

Young Boys vs. Atalanta (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

From dark horses to genuine contenders for the Serie A crown, Atalanta BC now hope to enhance their Champions League credentials on Tuesday, when they visit BSC Young Boys.

Gian Piero Gasperini's men are unbeaten in Europe this season, while their Swiss counterparts are yet to pick up a point and are third from bottom in the 36-team rankings.

We say: Young Boys 0-3 Atalanta BC

An Atalanta side under Gasperini's wing almost always guarantee goals, whereas Young Boys have been largely toothless in Europe this season and will surely fall to La Dea's superiority on Tuesday.

The hosts do not help themselves in the final third either - their shot conversion rate of 2.1% is the second-worst in the tournament - so Atalanta should also maintain their perfect defensive record at Stadion Wankdorf.
