Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has played down talks of his side being favourites to go through at the expense of Monaco in the Champions League.
The Gunners welcome their French counterparts to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday for the first leg of their last-16 clash.
Wenger told BBC Sport: "The French might give us the status of favourites. It doesn't bother me. The worst thing that happened in my career was to play games without any pressure.
"There's a lot at stake. These are the games you want to play when you are a player and a manager."
Monaco gave Wenger his big break in management in 1987.
