Mikel Arteta is passed fit to start for Arsenal in tonight's Champions League encounter with Olympiakos at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta has been passed fit to start for Arsenal in tonight's Champions League encounter with Olympiakos at the Emirates Stadium.

The midfielder had been doubtful with an ankle injury that he picked up in Saturday's defeat to Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Abou Diaby and Aaron Ramsey have been replaced by Francis Coquelin and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll was expected to start for the Greek side but has instead been overlooked in favour of Balazs Megyeri.
