Wojciech Szczesny hails Joe Hart as the best goalkeeper in the world following his impressive season for Manchester City.

Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny has claimed that Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is currently the world's best in his position.

The Poland international believes that Hart's consistency has propelled him to world-class status and expects him to be a key member of England's Euro 2012 squad.

Szczesny told Sport Magazine: "If you're asking me who is the best 'keeper in the world at the moment, I would probably say Joe Hart.

"I know they are big words because you often think the best is not around you, it's far away in another country, but Joe has been so consistent this season it's unbelievable.

"To be that consistent at this level, for 60-odd games, is really hard. He's made a big difference to Man City and he will be a big help for England."

Szczesny is currently with the Polish squad preparing for Euro 2012.
