Joe Allen, Aaron Ramsey make Euro 2016 Team of the Tournament

Wales midfielders Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey are included in UEFA's Team of the Tournament for Euro 2016, alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Antoine Griezmann.

Wales midfielders Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey have been named in the Team of the Tournament for Euro 2016.

Chris Coleman's side surpassed all expectations by making it to the semi-finals in France before falling to eventual champions Portugal in the last four.

Ramsey was absent for that match but was instrumental in helping the Dragons through the tournament, registering four assists and a goal en route to the semis.

Champions Portugal have four representatives in the team, including Cristiano Ronaldo, who was stretchered off in the first half of the final following a challenge from Dimitri Payet, who also makes the team.

Payet is one of two French players in the side along with Player of the Tournament Antoine Griezmann, while German trio Joshua Kimmich, Jerome Boateng and Toni Kroos make up the XI, meaning that the entire team is made up from the four semi-finalists.

Euro 2016 Team of the Tournament: Rui Patricio (Portugal); Joshua Kimmich (Germany), Jerome Boateng (Germany), Pepe (Portugal), Raphael Guerreiro (Portugal); Toni Kroos (Germany), Joe Allen (Wales), Antoine Griezmann (France), Aaron Ramsey (Wales), Dimitri Payet (France); Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal)
