Mohamed Elneny has made the Arsenal starting lineup for their Europa League finale with FC Zurich in Group A, as Mikel Arteta makes seven changes in total.

The Gunners will automatically qualify for the last 16 with all three points, and Elneny has come into the first XI after battling back from a hamstring injury.

The Egyptian was initially expected to remain sidelined until January but has made a rapid recovery to replace Granit Xhaka, who sits out tonight's game through suspension.

Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Jesus are the four players to keep their spots from the 5-0 thumping of Nottingham Forest, as Matt Turner misses out with a groin injury once again.

Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding come into the backline, while Elneny is joined by Albert Sambi Lokonga and Fabio Vieira in a new-look midfield, with Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard both rested.

Bukayo Saka has made the bench after his injury scare - while Oleksandr Zinchenko is in the squad for the first time since the North London derby - but Reiss Nelson unsurprisingly supports Jesus and Eddie Nketiah up front.

Arsenal starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Elneny, Lokonga; Nelson, Vieira, Jesus; Nketiah

Subs: Hein, Hillson, Partey, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saliba, Cedric, Tomiyasu, Marquinhos, Zinchenko, Smith
