For all of Arsenal's history, it is worth remembering that the Gunners have not won the Premier League title since 2004, which is incredible considering their stature.
The London club had consistently been a top-four side, though, before finishing fifth in 2016-17. Since then, they have posted sixth and fifth in England's top flight and are currently eight points off fourth-placed Chelsea in this season's Premier League table.
There is no guarantee that the current campaign will resume, but under new head coach Mikel Arteta, the club's supporters will be hoping that their side can kick on during the 2020-21 campaign.
Arsenal unquestionably have a squad packed full of talent despite no longer being at the top of English football, and here Sports Mole has taken a look at the club's most valuable players.

Unsurprisingly, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the Arsenal player with the highest market value (£63m). Indeed, the 30-year-old has scored 20 goals in 32 appearances for the Gunners during the 2019-20 campaign, while he has managed 61 strikes in 97 outings in all competitions since arriving from Borussia Dortmund.
That said, the forward will be out of contract at the end of next season and therefore his valuation is perhaps a little too high considering that Arteta's side might be forced into a sale this summer.
Fellow forwards Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette are second and third respectively but neither has enjoyed an impressive season. The former cost £72m from Lille last summer, though, and it is only right that he holds a high value as the 24-year-old should improve after his first season in the Premier League.
Perhaps the surprise name towards the top of the list is Matteo Guendouzi. Indeed, the 20-year-old has only contributed two assists in 22 Premier League appearances this season, while he has struggled for action in regular weeks. The Frenchman is certainly a talent but his £40.5m valuation in relation to Gabriel Martinelli's £25.2m is slightly surprising as the former has shown more during the 2019-20 campaign.

There is a case to be made for Bernd Leno being Arsenal's best player this season, but the Germany international is only the eighth-highest ranked player in the squad. Bukayo Saka's valuation of £19.8m is also on the low side considering the 18-year-old's development throughout the campaign.
It is not a surprise to see Matt Macey at the bottom of the list as the 25-year-old has only made two first-team appearances for the club since arriving in 2014. Fellow goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is next with a valuation of £3.15m, while the lowest ranked outfield player in the first-team squad is on-loan centre-back Pablo Mari with £5.4m.
The fact that Hector Bellerin is rated at £36m while Ainsley Maitland-Niles - on a contract at the Emirates Stadium until June 2023 - is down at £16.2m is another talking point, although the latter has fallen out of favour under Arteta due to some off-the-field matters.
