How Arsenal could line up against Leicester City

Sports Mole looks at how in-form Arsenal could line up for Monday night's Premier League clash with Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal could win 10 games in a row for only the sixth time in their history when they welcome Leicester City to the Emirates Stadium on Monday night.

The Gunners overcame defeats in their opening two games under Unai Emery to establish themselves as the form team in the Premier League, and could now record 10 victories on the bounce for the first time since 2007.

Arsenal also boast a formidable record at home to Leicester - winning each of their last 11 such matches and not losing to the visiting Foxes since 1973 - and so will be firm favourites to leapfrog North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the top four with another victory.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Emery could set his side out on Monday.

Possible ARS XI vs. LEI

Out: Laurent Koscielny (Achilles), Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin)
Doubtful: Petr Cech (hamstring), Danny Welbeck (hamstring), Sokratis Papastathopoulos (ankle)

Arsenal are able to welcome playmaker Mesut Ozil back into their side for this match after the German missed the win over Fulham before the international break with a back injury.

Ozil's return could mean that Aaron Ramsey is once again forced to sit out of the starting lineup, although Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could come back into the team after coming off the bench to score a brace last time out.

The Gabon international averages the best goals-per-minute ratio of any Arsenal player to have scored 10 or more goals in the Premier League, and has now been directly involved in 19 goals from his 21 appearances in the English top flight.

Danny Welbeck is also in contention having recovered from the hamstring injury which forced him to pull out of international duty, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles could feature for the first time since August.

There will be late fitness tests for Petr Cech and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, although Cech faces a battle to win his starting place back from Bernd Leno in goal.
