ARSENAL

Gameweek 34 opponents: Wolverhampton Wanderers (A)

Out: Jurrien Timber (knee)

Doubtful: None

Mikel Arteta quotes: "Too soon for [Jurrien Timber to play against Wolves]. He's going to continue to play for the Under-23s. He looked good in training. He now needs to make that step and the certainty to go. The rest [of the players] are all good."

ASTON VILLA

Gameweek 34 opponents: Bournemouth (H)

Out: Emiliano Buendia (knee), Tyrone Mings (knee), Boubacar Kamara (knee), Jacob Ramsey (toe), Douglas Luiz (suspended), Alex Moreno (calf)

Doubtful: Nicolo Zaniolo (hamstring)

Unai Emery quotes: "It's difficult to know today how the players finished exactly, thinking how they are going to be for Sunday. Not available for Sunday is Alex Moreno, and Tyrone Mings, Emi Buendia, Jacob Ramsey and Boubacar Kamara.

"I think no more, but after the match we played yesterday we have wait for the last training tomorrow and we'll decide."

BOURNEMOUTH

Gameweek 34 opponents: Aston Villa (A)

Out: Ryan Fredericks (calf), Luis Sinisterra (thigh), Marcus Tavernier (hamstring), Tyler Adams (back)

Doubtful: Chris Mepham (illness)

Andoni Iraola quotes: "We will recover Antoine Semenyo; he will be part of the squad if everything goes well tomorrow in training.

"That's it. We are losing Sini from the other day. He is obviously injured and we don't expect any more changes."

BRENTFORD

Gameweek 34 opponents: Luton Town (A)

Out: Josh Dasilva (knee), Rico Henry (knee), Ben Mee (ankle), Aaron Hickey (hamstring)

Doubtful: None

Thomas Frank quotes: "From the last squad, everyone should be available. Ivan [Toney] is pressing. He is desperate [to start], and I am desperate, so let's see tomorrow. They [the Brentford fans] know how much I like Ivan and how important a player he is for us, so let's see.

"He, like any other player, wants to make a difference. Of course, he would like to perform. With all your important players, you are willing to push them hard to play. And all of the important players normally have an extraordinary mentality and can push through things.

"And the best news is that Christian Norgaard is available for selection."

BURNLEY

Gameweek 34 opponents: Sheffield United (A)

Out: Aaron Ramsey (knee), Nathan Redmond (thigh), Luca Koleosho (thigh), Jordan Beyer (thigh), Ameen Al-Dakhil (unspecified)

Doubtful: None

Vincent Kompany quotes: "We shouldn't have too much change from the last game."

CRYSTAL PALACE

Gameweek 34 opponents: West Ham United (H)

Out: Sam Johnstone (elbow), Cheick Doucoure (Achilles), Marc Guehi (knee), Matheus Franca (groin), Jefferson Lerma (hamstring)

Doubtful: Chris Richards (fitness), Joel Ward (groin), Will Hughes (knock)

Oliver Glasner quotes: "We have one player injured from the Liverpool game, and that is Jefferson Lerma. We will miss him for at least until Manchester United [on May], so for this week where we have three games in six or seven days.

"I am pleased that Rob Holding is back. He trained for the whole week with us and he will be in the squad.

"We have three question marks. Chris Richards: it was the first time he trained with us today, but it was a very easy session, so him.

"Then we have Joel Ward, who also had issues this week with his groin so we will see tomorrow, and Will Hughes got a knock yesterday in training, so he couldn't train today. So it is three players we will take the final decision on tomorrow. That is it, nobody else is coming back."

EVERTON

Gameweek 34 opponents: Nottingham Forest (H)

Out: Dele Alli (groin), Lewis Dobbin (ankle), Nathan Patterson (hamstring)

Doubtful: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (hamstring), Seamus Coleman (groin), Jarrad Branthwaite (knock)

Sean Dyche quotes: "[Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin] trained, we were light today but both trained light and came through it, so we hope there is no reaction to that.

"[Nathan Patterson] will be out for the season - he will need surgery. Very unfortunate injury. We're disappointed on that one for him as much as us.

"Seamus [Coleman], we're waiting on but hopefully it will calm down quickly - but touch-and-go, at best, for this weekend.

"[Idrissa Gana Gueye] should be okay. His calf settled and he trained today - similar, low-level training today but he trained and he was okay."

FULHAM

LIVERPOOL

Gameweek 34 opponents: Fulham (A)

Out: Joel Matip (knee), Thiago Alcantara (thigh), Conor Bradley (ankle)

Doubtful: None

Jurgen Klopp quotes: "We need Trent Alexander-Arnold, of course, but we need him in a really good shape, in form and that's now what he has to get up to. It's not about him, it's not his fault if he wouldn't be, it's just the situation, so how quick can we get him rolling?

"Same for Diogo [Jota], for [Andy Robertson], it's the same for Mo [Salah]. They all had injuries which they never had before, if you want – the length. Dom Szoboszlai, same. Curtis Jones, the same.

"It's good to have them but it's not about who wears the shirt, it's about how can we perform? We have to find a way to help the boys in the best way, to bring them as quick as possible into their best form or shape and then from there we have to go.

"But, of course, each player that plays with that quality anyway, without them we wouldn't have a chance. With them, we have a chance. With them in a really good football moment, the chance is getting bigger and bigger.

"There's no perfect way. The boys more or less have to get through this by themselves. Now we have the injury with Conor Bradley, so it means one right-back solution is gone. It's good that Trent is back, so now he will probably find a way into it on the field by doing it. That's how it is.

"We can talk about that for the next five days and I'm long, long in the business and I don't know anybody who can speed these things up. It depends on the moment. The better the team plays, the easier it is for the boys to step in and to get up to speed. If we are not in a great moment, it's really tricky for them as well.

"They should not be the ones who turn it around. The boys who played, have much more rhythm, they have to set the level and the other boys fit in and then push us to the next level."

LUTON TOWN

Gameweek 34 opponents: Brentford (H)

Out: Tom Lockyer (heart issue), Amari'i Bell (hamstring), Marvelous Nakamba (knee), Elijah Adebayo (thigh), Chiedozie Ogbene (hamstring), Jacob Brown (knee), Gabriel Osho (knee), Issa Kabore (ineligible), Albert Sambi Lokonga (thigh)

Doubtful: Teden Mengi (unspecified), Dan Potts (hamstring), Mads Anderson (calf)

Rob Edwards quotes: "[Teden Mengi] is a maybe, [Dan Potts and Mads Andersen are] on the list of maybes.

"We're filtering people back and people are getting closer but we don't want to risk anyone. Then again, we could get to stage where we might have to take some risks.

"But we've had 11 or 12 out recently so the group know what we're up against. We've had five teenagers and two goalkeepers on the bench recently and hopefully, as the weeks pass, we'll get more in shape and become stronger."

NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Gameweek 34 opponents: Everton (A)

Out: Willy Boly (muscle)

Doubtful: Taiwo Awoniyi (unspecified), Anthony Elanga (unspecified)

Nuno Espirito Santo quotes: We have the same players out - [Willy] Boly is out. But we are recovering [some] - Taiwo [Awoniyi] is coming back. Issues but let's see.

"Taiwo hasn't joined the group yet. He is still partially integrated into the group.

"In the middle of the week, Anthony [Elanga] was able to do something with us. We are managing him until tomorrow and then will assess him for the game."

SHEFFIELD UNITED

Gameweek 34 opponents: Burnley (H)

Out: Max Lowe (ankle), Rhys Norrington-Davies (hamstring), Chris Basham (foot), John Egan (ankle), Rhian Brewster (hamstring), Daniel Jebbison (ill), George Baldock (calf), Tom Davies (thigh)

Doubtful: Jack Robinson (ankle), Jayden Bogle (ankle)

Chris Wilder quotes: "[Jack Robinson and Jayden Bogle] are struggling for the weekend so that's a blow for us. We gain one and we lose one. That's a difficult situation to deal with.

"It's two influential people in the group, Jack from a leadership point of view and Jayden has been, definitely since I came back into the football club, one of our most outstanding players with the way he;s gone about his business. So it's disappointing.

"Jadyen [Bogle] gets into a great position on Saturday and we just expected him to get up and jog back to the halfway line Unfortunately he leaves the ground in a boot, same with Jack Robinson when he goes up for a header and lands awkwardly. These are the ones we can't really do anything about.

"We are frustrated but the most frustrating aspect is when we lose players to soft-tissue injuries and when we lose players in training, those are the ones that really do hurt. And it's something we have to get over next year."

WEST HAM UNITED

West Ham United manager David Moyes pictured on March 10, 2024© Reuters

Gameweek 34 opponents: Crystal Palace (A)

Out: George Earthy (head)

Doubtful: Nayef Aguerd (ankle), Konstantinos Mavropanos (unknown), Alphonse Areola (groin), Kalvin Phillips (hamstring), Jarrod Bowen (back)

David Moyes quotes: "I've not had a chance to assess Nayef [Aguerd]. He rolled his ankle. He and Dinos [Mavropanos] are being assessed before Sunday.

"Emerson and Lucas Paqueta will come back into contention, and Kalvin Phillips and Alphonse Areola will be checked.

"I've not seen him yet today. Jarrod was really touch and go going into last night's game, and it took an injection for him to play. We'll have to see how he is ahead of Sunday.

"You always want your big players to be available. If we have them all we always have a good chance of getting a result.

"He's (George Earthy) great. He was in the other day. He looks fine, but he's going through the protocols. He won't be available on Sunday."

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS

Wolverhampton Wanderers' Pedro Neto is stretchered off after sustaining an injury on October 28, 2023© Reuters

Gameweek 34 opponents: Arsenal (H)

Out: Pedro Neto (hamstring), Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (knee), Craig Dawson (groin), Nelson Semedo (calf), Matheus Cunha (calf)

Doubtful: Rayan Ait-Nouri (calf)

Gary O'Neil quotes: "[Pedro] Neto is doing well and on the grass. If everything goes well he should play before the end of the season. Rayan [Ait-Nouri] could be available for the bench.

"[Nelson] Semedo is out, [Matheus] Cunha is out, Hwang [Hee-chan] only 45 tops. [Jean-Ricper] Bellegarde is out. [Craig] Dawson has had his operation.

"Cunha had a kick on his calf against Forest and has done damage to the muscle. Semedo overload on his calf, but not serious.

"I've been looking forward to getting Pedro [Neto], [Matheus] Cunha and [Hwang Hee-chan] on the pitch together, but it hasn't happened yet. I'm disappointed for Cunha because he's worked so hard. He gets our support.

"Losing Semedo is a massive loss because he's been unbelievably consistent. An incredible season. We're pushing hard to get them back."
