Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte reveals that teammate Eric Garcia is "OK" after being stretchered off following a collision with Ederson against Arsenal.

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has revealed that teammate Eric Garcia is "OK" following his sickening collision with Ederson on Wednesday night.

The 19-year-old required lengthy treatment on the field after being clattered into by his own goalkeeper, with doctors administering oxygen before carrying him off in a neck brace.

City boss Pep Guardiola admitted after the match that he was "concerned" about the injury and that Garcia could be forced to go to hospital, but Laporte has now eased worries over his defensive partner.

Man City went on to beat Arsenal 3-0, with goals from Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden.
