Brian McDermott says that Arsenal at home is a good draw for Reading.

Reading manager Brian McDermott has expressed his happiness at drawing Arsenal at home in the last 16 of the Capital One Cup.

The Royals earned the tie after twice coming from behind to see off Queens Park Rangers 3-2 at Loftus Road, while Arsenal thrashed Coventry City 6-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

McDermott is delighted with the clash and thinks that many will flock to the Madejski to watch it.

"It is a good draw, we're really happy with it," said McDermott.

"I am sure we'll have a few people at the Madejski Stadium for that.

"We look forward to that but before that we have a big game against Newcastle that we're really looking forward to and tonight's result will be important going into that."

Reading host Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday as they continue to look for their first league win of the season.
