Aaron Ramsey: 'Arsenal believe in title after Manchester United demolition'

Aaron Ramsey claims that Arsenal's 3-0 win over Manchester United is proof of their Premier League title credentials.

Aaron Ramsey has suggested that the way in which Arsenal beat Manchester United has only strengthened their claim to a Premier League title this season.

The Gunners moved second in the table - two points behind Manchester City - after thumping the Red Devils 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium in a rip-roaring first 20 minutes.

It was their first league win over United since 2011, and Ramsey says that the manner of the victory will only bolster Arsenal's mentality as they look to end a 12-year drought for the title come May.

"We owed them from a few years ago and the way we started the game was fantastic," the Welshman told reporters.

"Hopefully we can continue that now and carry on to beat the bigger teams and carry on our form against the other teams."

Arsene Wenger's side travel to top-flight new boys Watford on Saturday evening.
