Juventus striker Alvaro Morata turned down Arsenal last summer in order to join the Serie A giants, despite the Gunners offering more money, according to the player's agent.
The Spanish international, who began his professional career at Real Madrid, was said to be on the North Londoners' radar, but ended up moving to Juve in July 2014.
Asked about Arsenal offering the 22-year-old more money, Giuseppe Bozzo told The Metro: "Exactly, but Alvaro had made up his mind as soon as Juve set their sights on him.
"That's the way Morata is. I can tell you this because I know him well. He's crazily determined, he's got courage and guts. He's not hypocritical either - he says what he thinks. He's not two-faced.
"He told me recently that Juve are one big family and that they are ideal for him."
Morata has scored seven league goals for the Old Lady this season.
