Arsene Wenger thinks its "too early" to take Arsenal out of the race for the Premier League title.

Arsene Wenger believes that Arsenal’s title chances shouldn’t be dismissed despite a disappointing start to the season.

The Gunners have only won one match out of their first five Premier League fixtures and remain fourth-bottom in the table.

While the London club have claimed four points from a possible 15, the Frenchman thinks it’s “too early” to write them off.

"It is too early to speak about that,” said Wenger. “Let's come back to a better distance with the top teams before we speak about that and then we will see. If the team gets momentum, we can be very strong.”

Last year's champions Manchester United currently sit at the top of the table with a 100% win record.

"It is absolutely not realistic not to be worried when you have a team like Manchester United in front of you,” Wenger added. “The only thing we can do is focus on our performances, win our games and hope they will drop some points at some stage.”

Arsenal host Bolton Wanderers at the Emirates this weekend.
