Barcelona president Sandro Rosell criticises Arsenal and Manchester City for the way they conduct their transfer business.

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has blasted Arsenal and Manchester City for the way they conduct their transfer business.

City have recently been linked with moves for Catalan pair Sergio Busquets and Cesc Fabregas, although these rumours have since been denied by the Premier League champions.

The Gunners have a history of attracting Barca's youth talent such as Fabregas, Fran Merida and current defender Ignasi Miquel, and Rosell claims that both English clubs try to 'tap up' their players.

"City are now doing at first team what Arsenal have been doing at academy - call players and offer them lots of money," said Rosell.

City travel to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday while Arsenal make the journey to Norwich City.
