Brighton & Hove Albion defender Bruno backs his former manager Unai Emery for success at Arsenal.

Brighton & Hove Albion defender Bruno has tipped new Arsenal manager Unai Emery for success at the club.

The Spaniard, who played under Emery at Almeria and Valencia, said that his compatriot is ready for the challenges the Premier League poses.

"He is a really good manager. He is a really hard worker. He loves to analyse every single team - it is one of best strengths," BBC Sport quotes Bruno as saying.

"Arsenal will be a big challenge but I think he is ready.

"When you see someone with that passion, not scared about working, plus his talent, it is a perfect combination to be successful."

Emery was confirmed as Arsene Wenger's successor earlier today, landing the role ahead of former Gunners player Mikel Arteta.
