Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has hailed the signing of Cesc Fabregas as a "great addition".
The Spain international sealed a reported £30m switch to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona earlier on Thursday, signing a five-year deal with the Premier League outfit.
It is poised to be Fabregas's second stint in England following an eight-year spell with Arsenal, and Cech is enthused by the capture.
"He's a great player with a lot of experience of playing in England and the Premier League so it's a great addition to the team," Cech told BBC Sport.
Fabregas revealed on his Facebook page that the Gunners had the option to re-sign him but opted against the move.
