Arsenal manager Unai Emery will reportedly hold talks with his squad before deciding whether Granit Xhaka will remain as captain.
During the second half of Sunday's Premier League fixture with Crystal Palace, some supporters cheered when Xhaka was substituted, leading to an angry reaction from the midfielder.
While the incident has divided opinion, a number of Gunners legends have demanded that the Switzerland international be removed as skipper of the first team.
According to The Telegraph, Emery plans to speak with his players ahead of making a final call over whether Xhaka keeps the armband.
The report adds that despite Emery and Xhaka meeting on Monday to discuss the incident, the Spaniard wishes to receive feedback from the rest of the group.
Arsenal are next in action when they face Liverpool at Anfield in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.
