Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud believes that it is only a matter of time before the Gunners get their first victory on the Premier League table.
The North London club have failed to find the net in the first two games of the season and Giroud's ambitious attempt during Arsenal's 0-0 draw with Stoke City yesterday was the closest Arsene Wenger's side got to scoring.
"I hoped [my shot] would go in," Giroud told the club's official website. "I saw the keeper off his line and I did not see Aaron [Ramsey] for a cross. So I tried to take my chance.
"[It means] we have to wait for our [first] victory. But it is coming soon. We played well and had some good situations in front of goal. We just have to score now - me too."
Arsenal go up against Liverpool at Anfield this Sunday.
