Mario Goetze admits that he would prefer a move to Spain over England should he leave Dortmund.

Mario Goetze has said that he would prefer a move to La Liga over the Premier League should he leave Borussia Dortmund.

The German international has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Chelsea over the past few weeks.

The 19-year-old insists that he does not want to leave Dortmund in the immediate future. However, he has admitted that a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid would be his preference.

"I'd prefer to play in Spain than in the Premier League," Goetze told Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

"Spanish football is better suited to my qualities.

"Every footballer's dream is to play in Spain. There are many great teams there like Real Madrid or Barcelona."

Goetze's Dortmund side are currently second in the Bundesliga.
