Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany has admitted that he is looking forward to facing the Premier League's top scorer Robin Van Persie this weekend.
The Arsenal striker has 15 league goals to his name this season but Kompany said that he is used to facing strikers of a similar calibre.
"It is not like it has been any different in the previous weeks. I have gone from Mario Gomez to Wayne Rooney to Edison Cavani to Didier Drogba and now Robin Van Persie. The list of names doesn't stop," Kompany told Sky Sports News.
"It is a tough world for defenders sometimes but I enjoy it all the more when I play against strong opponents."
City could find themselves second in the Premier League table by Sunday afternoon, with rivals United facing QPR in the early kick-off.
