Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny is confident that his teammate and French compatriot Olivier Giroud will prove to be a success at the Emirates.
The France international striker has yet to score in three appearances for the Gunners this season following his move from Montpellier in the summer.
"I know Olivier, he is a good player but you know when a striker doesn't score mentally you ask some questions," Koscielny told Arsenal's official website.
"When he scores the first goal, afterwards he will be more confident and easier for him to score."
Koscielny added that the 25-year-old has the "quality" to play for Arsenal.
"He has the quality to be strong with Arsenal, he works hard at training and when you have the opportunity to score and the ball goes 20 centimetres past the goal it is difficult," he said.
"But he is a professional and will come back strong. One goal and after he will be okay."
Giroud was the joint top scorer in Ligue 1 last season with 21 goals, as he helped Montpellier secure the title.
