England midfielder Frank Lampard has hailed the impact of Jack Wilshere on Roy Hodgson's side following tonight's 2-1 win over Brazil at Wembley.
The Arsenal playmaker started alongside Steven Gerrard in central midfield and helped create the opening goal for Wayne Rooney.
Lampard came off the bench to score a second-half winner and has admitted that he was impressed with Wilshere's vision and quality against Brazil.
He told reporters: "Wilshere is a fantastic player, his technical ability, his quality on the ball, he is going to be a massive player for England and in the world.
"The important thing now is consistency in the group matches. We can't get carried away but it's a long time since we beat Brazil so it's a lovely feeling."
Lampard's goal against Brazil was his 27th strike in 94 international appearances.
