Nacho Monreal: 'Arsenal must be clinical against Manchester City'

Nacho Monreal believes that Arsenal must be clinical in front of goal if they want to beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal has called on his teammates to be "clinical" during tomorrow's trip to Manchester City in the Premier League.

The Gunners remain in the hunt for Champions League qualification following last weekend's 3-0 win over Stoke City - their fourth victory in six games.

However, with City working hard to retain their title, Monreal believes that his side will need to be disciplined and ruthless at the Etihad Stadium if they want to come away with a positive result.

"Manchester City are one of the most prolific teams in the Premier League," he told the club's official website. "They have top strikers - some of them are really quick and some of them are really good at holding the ball.

"They are really lethal in attack. They have many attacking choices but we can make goals too. We have to make the most of our chances and be clinical. If we defend properly we will have a chance."

Monreal has made 22 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal so far this season.
