Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has insisted that he and new signing Mesut Ozil will form a perfect partnership at the Emirates.
The North London outfit announced the signing of the midfielder from Real Madrid for a club-record £42.5m on deadline day.
"Mesut and I are going to rock Arsenal," Podolski told Bild. "It's great that he's coming, he's a good friend and a brilliant footballer.
"He's a great fit for us. We're already playing great football, the only thing that was missing was the final punch, that element of surprise. That's exactly what Mesut will give us."
While the Arsenal players have expressed their excitement at Ozil's arrival, the midfielder's former Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted that he is "angry" that the club have sold Ozil.
