Report: Arsenal want Dennis Bergkamp to run academy

Arsenal reportedly outline Dennis Bergkamp to replace Liam Brady as manager of their youth academy.

Arsenal want Dennis Bergkamp to be the new head of their youth academy when Liam Brady retires in 2014, according to a report.

Bergkamp played for the Gunners for 11 years before retiring in 2006 and is viewed as a legend by the club's supporters.

The 43-year-old is currently with another one of his former clubs Ajax and serves as their technical director, aiding coach Frank de Boer.

However, according to The Mirror, Arsenal are confident that they can lure Bergkamp away from Amsterdam to replace Brady when he finally leaves the club at the end of next season.
