Arsenal's latest recruit Kim Kallstrom is reportedly out of Sunday's visit of Crystal Palace after sustaining a back injury in his first training session for the club.

The 31-year-old signed on for a short-term loan spell with the Gunners until the end of the season on deadline day from Spartak Moscow.

Reports emanating from Sweden this afternoon had suggested that the midfielder could be out of action for as long as two months but, according to BBC Sport, that duration is inaccurate - although he is expected miss tomorrow's London derby with the Eagles.

The encounter is scheduled to kick off at 4pm.
