Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that defender Bacary Sagna will miss Sunday's North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur.
It had been reported earlier this week that the 30-year-old had looked on course to return from a knee injury in time for his club's visit to White Hart Lane.
However, Wenger has revealed to Sky Sports News that the recovery time before Sunday's match is "too short" for the French full-back.
Arsenal travel to Spurs knowing that a win will take them to within one point of their rivals in the Premier League table.
