Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes criticises interim Arsenal manager Freddie Ljungberg for not wearing a suit during his first game in charge.

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has criticised interim Arsenal manager Freddie Ljungberg for not wearing a suit during his first game in charge.

The Swede wore a jumper and shirt before later putting on a club coat as the Gunners had to come from behind twice to secure a point against struggling Norwich City.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, Scholes said: "You would think he'd be out in a suit to show a bit of proudness that he took the job.

"To me that's a great start - shirt and tie to show some discipline.

"I don't think he'll be the right man."

Ljungberg has his second game in charge on Thursday night as Arsenal welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the Emirates Stadium.
