Fernando Torres is keen to win the Premier League title with Chelsea this season.

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres is determined to win the Premier League title this season.

The Spanish striker was on target in the Blues' 2-1 win against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

"We knew we needed to improve the result we had last season against the top teams," Torres told Sky Sports News on Saturday.

"That was one of the main targets we had this season – winning these types of games to go for the top four and to fight for the title.

"Today was the first big test in a very difficult stadium like the Emirates against Arsenal, a great team. And the result is really good for us."

Chelsea remain at the top of the league table with 16 points from six matches.
