Belgian defender Thomas Vermaelen has insisted that he wants to remain at the Emirates Stadium for the rest of his career.
Arsene Wenger is currently trying to tie up a new deal for captain Robin van Persie, with Theo Walcott and Alex Song also entering the last year of their contracts.
However, Wenger will experience no problem holding on to Vermaelen, who wants to see out the remainder of his playing days at Arsenal.
"I will stay at Arsenal forever. There will be no transfer for me," said the 26-year-old.
"I love London. I've got a house there, I'm happy there and I don't see any reason to ever leave the club."
The centre-back is hoping to be a part of the Belgium side that takes on England at Wembley in a friendly match on Saturday.
Vermaelen signed for Arsenal in 2009 from Ajax and is the current vice-captain of the Gunners.
