Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has congratulated Everton on their draw with the Gunners today and believes that his team can play better.
Mesut Ozil gave the hosts the lead with just 10 minutes left on the clock, but they were unable to hold on and Gerard Deulofeu equalised for the Toffees.
Despite praising the performance of Roberto Martinez's team, Wenger admits that he is disappointed not to have kept a clean sheet and believes that his players have room for improvement.
"Overall, we have to congratulate Everton as they played very well and started better but, saying that, Tim Howard made three excellent saves," Wenger told BBC Sport.
"We regret we were 1-0 up and couldn't keep a clean sheet. We were caught a bit on the flanks. This team has a fantastic attitude and response always. They give everything. We know we have quality and at least we took a point.
"There is always room for improvement. The three points would have been better but attitude and quality of players is there and is a good basis for improvement."
The Gunners are five points clear of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.
