Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that striker Olivier Giroud will undergo a fitness test on Saturday to see if he can participate in Sunday's match with Manchester City.
The French forward suffered a knee injury during Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Swansea City in the FA Cup last weekend and Wenger has admitted that it may be enough to keep him out of their clash with the Premier League champions.
Wenger told reporters: "He has not been practising because of the cut on the knee that he got at Swansea.
"We'll have a final test on Saturday to see if he is involved against Man City. It is a 50:50. We'll see."
Giroud has scored nine goals in 26 appearances for Arsenal this season.
