Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: 'I don't envy Manchester City's squad'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists that he does not "envy" Manchester City's star-studded squad.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that he does not "envy" Manchester City's "strong" squad ahead of their Premier League battle this weekend.

The Gunners currently sit at the top of the table, five points ahead of Liverpool, with City residing three places below in fourth spot.

City are known for their star-studded squad, which was added to with the arrivals of Alvaro Negredo, Jesus Navas, Fernandinho and Stevan Jovetic in the summer.

However, Wenger believes that his team contains a number of 'creative' players that can handle the quality of the former English champions when they go head to head at the Etihad Stadium tomorrow.

"City has a strong squad, I don't deny that, but when I look at my squad I don't envy them," Wenger said in a press conference. "I would say we have more creativity, perhaps less impact physical players, but more versatile. It's easier for me to rotate."

There are six points separating the two clubs heading into Saturday's clash.
