Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has played down the alleged clash between Jack Wilshere and Everton forward Kevin Mirallas on Tuesday night.
Reports claim that the England international aimed a punch at the Belgian before a scuffle between both sets of players broke out which was then separated, during the 0-0 draw at the Emirates.
The scrap spawned out of Mirallas squirting water at Wilshere's face, but Wenger has moved to defuse the situation.
"[Everton] decided to make it very physical for us to disturb our game and sometimes went over the edge, but the referee had to make the right decisions," Wenger told ESPN. "If [a tunnel bust-up] was on TV, very soon everybody will know about it.
"I don't blame the referee and I do not want to comment on every decision of the referee. Despite all that, we had the chances to win the game."
Arsenal travel to Fulham on Saturday.
