Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that he considers it complimentary when Barcelona come calling for his players.
Barca signed Alex Song this summer for £15m and the then club captain Cesc
Fabregas in 2011 for an initial £25m.
The departures of the influential midfielders left many Gunners fans frustrated but Wenger feels that the Spanish side's interest in his squad is flattering.
"That Barcelona come and look, and buy our players can be seen as a compliment for us," said Wenger.
"It proves that our players are well-educated and also that our players are those that are most relevant to their style of game."
