Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he will sign a new contract with the club before the start of this summer's World Cup.
Wenger's future has come under heavy scrutiny in recent seasons, with the Gunners going nine years without silverware before Saturday's FA Cup final win over Hull City.
However, the 64-year-old always insisted that he would extend his 18-year stay at the club and has now confirmed that a new deal will be agreed before he travels to the World Cup on June 10.
"Yes [it will be done], because I go to Brazil on June 10," Wenger is quoted as saying by PA.
Wenger also revealed that he will be looking to bring in "two or three" new players during the summer transfer window.
