Arsene Wenger willing to buy in January

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that he would add to his squad in January, were a "fantastic player" to become available.

The Gunners have been linked with a £30m move for Borussia Dortmund forward Mario Gotze.

"At the moment, I do nothing in January," said Wenger. "I have a big squad, but if you knock at my door and say, 'I have a fantastic player for you' I will not turn it down."

The North London side travel to Wigan Athletic in the Premier League on Saturday.
