Jack Wilshere hits back at critics

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere posts a message on Instagram appearing to hit back at his critics following another smoking controversy.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has taken to Instagram to respond to the latest controversy surrounding his smoking habits.

Photos recently emerged on social media of the 23-year-old holding a shisha pipe in a nightclub just a month after teammate Wojciech Szczesny was fined for smoking in the showers after a 2-0 defeat to Southampton on New Year's Day.

The Gunners have confirmed that they will investigate the images, but Wilshere hit back with a message to his critics on Instagram alongside a video of him continuing his recovery from an ankle injury.

Wilshere's injury means that he is unavailable for this weekend's North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.ID:203702: cacheID:203702:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:2464:
