Jack Wilshere tells Arsene Wenger to play him in Arsenal's game against Norwich City this weekend.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has reportedly told manager Arsene Wenger that he is ready to face Norwich City at the weekend.

The England international hasn't appeared for the Gunners first team since August 2011 after injury ruled him out of the whole of last season.

The 20-year-old has played several Under-21 matches for the North London outfit as part of his rehabilitation process, including a behind-closed-doors match against Chelsea on Wednesday.

Now Wilshere wants the Arsenal boss to play him in their visit to Carrow Road to face Norwich on Saturday, according to the Daily Mail.

Wilshere missed 15 months of action with a string of ankle, foot and knee problems.
