Jack Wilshere to miss Southampton trip?

A report claims that an ankle injury will keep Jack Wilshere out of Arsenal's match against Southampton.

Jack Wilshere will reportedly sit out Arsenal's match away at Southampton this evening.

Manager Arsene Wenger admitted to reporters yesterday that the midfielder was a doubt for the clash with an ankle complaint.

It has since been decided that the 22-year-old will not be risked at the St Mary's Stadium, according to Goal.com.

The report added that the injury is not expected to keep the England international on the sidelines for too long.
