Jack Wilshere upbeat despite Arsenal defeat

Jack Wilshere believes that Arsenal can take plenty of positives from their 1-0 defeat at home to Swansea.

Jack Wilshere has urged his Arsenal teammates to take the positives from their defeat to Swansea City.

The Gunners saw their eight-game unbeaten run in the Premier League ended last night as they were stunned 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

Despite failing to make their dominance count during the match, Wilshere believes that Arsenal should take plenty of encouragement from their positive performance.

"We've got to take the positives," he told the club's official website. "We'll look back at the game during the week and we'll see where we should have scored.

"We switched off towards the end for a couple of minutes and we got punished. If we look back at the 90 minutes, we mostly dominated the game so we can take the positives and we'll learn from this."

Arsenal have the chance to get back to winning ways on Sunday when they travel to Manchester United in the league.
