Granit Xhaka: 'Arsenal must build on Chelsea result'

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka acknowledges that his side must build on their performance against Chelsea if they are to challenge for the Premier League title.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has admitted that his side cannot afford to waste their opportunity to build on their recent good form.

The Gunners are unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions, and last week they displayed their credentials for a potential Premier League title bid with a 3-0 victory against Chelsea.

However, after impressing in recent weeks, the Swiss international has said that he and his teammates must not rest on their laurels when they make the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley on Sunday.

The 24-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It's probably too early to say but we're having a really positive phase and that's something that we're happy with.

"We need to do the same against Burnley on Sunday, we need to approach the game in the same way and make sure we go into the international break still in this positive phase."

Arsenal go into the weekend in fourth position in the Premier League table.
